I hope this isn't a dumb rookie question, but I have no idea what X11 is,
and I don't know if I have to know what it is to install openoffice.org. I
dragged the program to the applications folder, but when I tried to open the
program from there, it opened X11 and asks me if I want to use the apple
fonts. At first I said yes, and after a minute, it says the operation timed
out and I had to force quit Openoffice. X11 opens a window called "xterm,"
which says bash-3.2$. The second time I said no to the fonts question, and
the program said the application cannot be started because the user
interface language cannot be determined. I couldn't find any answer to this
question in the literature online. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Nate
