When you send as e-mail, it should start your e-mail application.
However, without further information about your operating system etc., I
can't advise further. However, you should be able to save the file as
usual and then attach it to a message. There are two ways to create a
PDF from your document. One is the PDF icon on your tool bar. The other
method is to click on File > Export as PDF. The second method will give
you more control over the output.
