You were in the download path for one of the developer snapshots. These
are beta candidate releases that are made available for experienced
users to evaluate and identify problems to the developers.
You should select "The stable version (1.1.4)" in the "Download" box on
the home page. This will provide you the guidance and prompts you seek.
