I have a MacBook with Mac OS X 10.5. I downloaded openoffice about a month ago. I tried to open it today and I get a pop up saying "operation timed out." I tried to reinstall it and it's still saying the same thing. Now I have two Icons on my desktop for OpenOffice and I can't get rid of them. Everytime I try and delete them it says I have to Eject them, but there is nothing to eject. Can you give me any ideas to get rid of these 2 and get them off of my computer because they are now taking up space and they don't even work. Thank you, Lynne Ziegelbauer
