Hi!
I have an odf document with a placed EPS file. The document is created
in NeoOffice 2.x and in NeoOffice the EPS is displayed on the screen
and prints correctly. When I open the same file in OpenOffice3 RC2
only the bounding box appears on the display with text content
"Creator: ....". In an earlier, not Mac-related post I read that this
is expected if no thumbnail image is available but that it should
print ok. But again, only the bounding box appears on the printout,
with the text "Creator: ..." inside. Furthermore, as soon as a
document with EPS image is printed in OpenOffice3 RC2, the application
hangs with an empty print dialogue window after the printjob has been
sent.
Is there a tweak to get EPS display and printing to work in
OpenOffice? If NeoOffice can there should be way for OpenOffice too.
Can anyone reproduce the crash on printing documents with placed EPS
files?
