Hi Rob,
Yes, I had similar problems using Debian Lenny 2.6.26. It had to do with a
new package needing to write to a file that belonged to another package
from an earlier version. I got around that problem by removing the packages
in conflict in question. You can find which ones (I don't remember their
names) but looking at the output of  aptitude or apt-get when you try to
install those packages. It should mention which other package the file
belongs to and then you can delete the one it mentions.

Another problem is that once I did all that any all the  packages were
installed and I tried to run the program I get this error:
"The application cannot be started.
iso resource could not be loaded by SfxApplication"
I have no idea what that means nor how to fix it.
