I suspect people will start complaining to his ISP soon if he keeps
this up. For my own part, I can just block at my mail server, but am
reluctant to special-case incoming mail this way.

To Mr Montezuma - you have had a suggested way of unsubscribing,
which I imagine you've not tried, so I'll repeat here because I'm
99.9% it should work......

1. In your mail client set your email address to the problem gmail
address, and send an unsubscription request to OOo.
1a The list manager will respond to the problem address.
2. Assuming email is being forwarded as you describe, you will
receive the confirmation email.
3. Reply to the confirmation email as directed therein.
4. Restore your proper sending address in your mail client.

(Anyone on-list see problems with that procedure?)

And to Mr M., please remember that your behaviour here reflects
directly on your company (all mails to this list are archived and
searchable by Joe Public via Google, etc), and also that deliberately
causing havoc on computer equipment is a criminal offence in some
jurisdictions.
