I think we can all agree that in order to avoid unpleasantries that don't
advance the purpose of the present forum, the best thing to do is to stay as
close to topic - OOo and its vagaries - as possible. But as we all sometimes
tend to stray from the strait and narrow, the next best thing to do, I
believe, is to cut each other a great deal of slack in such cases. After
all, automatically sending a fellow user's missives to the trash comes
rather close to cutting off one's nose to spite one's face - as a punishment
for the «offender», who won't experience it at all, it is singularly
uneffective, while, if that person just happens to be the one who forwards
the answer to one's own desperate query, one simply injures oneself. Of
course, one could *peek* before sending the offender's postings to the
trash, but I do not wish to believe that any fellow participant on this
forum would stoop so low !...
