Microsoft has two core competencies:
* Paying bribes to government officials;
* Telling lies to the rest of the world about their products;

Their incompetence in writing software is such that they can't even
write a program in BASIC that works correctly.

As such, Microsoft has ordered TC34 to take over, and control ODF, and
repurpose it so that it is called OO-XML, and is not backwardly
compatible with ODF as passed by the ISO. That defect will be taken
care of, using the same tactics that were used to pass OO-XML -- bribe
all the appropriate officials, and declare that a "no" vote is an
abstention, and an "abstain" vote is a "yes" vote, and a "yes" vote is
two yes votes. And make sure that people that oppose the measure are
not allowed to vote. Objections will be handled by the people who
ensure that file thirteen is kept in an orderly manner.

In this manner, microsoft can collect a royalty payment from all
compturer uses, despite the fact that their only contribution to
computing has been to set back personal computers a minimum of thirty
years.
