Hi, but my printer isn't configurable with cups, only with the ddriver that came with the printer and i have to change the settings every time i print something again - i have the canon 560i and i can just configure it when i print things via "bjcups" - that's a command like "lpr" but it is from canon for this printer, with xups i can change no settings of my printer - that's a mess, because i don'w want to print in the "standard mode" - too much ink....... any suggestions? bye Capsad
