Hi I am investigating the use of OpenOffice for our Service Department.
I am having problems with the decimal separator. OO (text document and spreadsheet) is currently displaying numbers and currency values with the comma as the decimal separator and the period as the 1000's separator whereas I would prefer them the other way around. I am using Windows XP Pro. My regional options settings have been set to South Africa where the items are displayed correctly. In OO under Tools / Options / Language Settings / Language both the Locale and Currency have been set to SA. Could you please help with the above problem and get back to me as to whether it is possible to use the period as the decimal separator. Keep up the good work.
