Well, the primary difference is that you didn't get those 800+ messages
in your inbox. But this actually is a good example; having seen the 800+
Kaye Evans blast, I read one (I use SeaMonkey but the same works for
Thunderbird) and immediately set a filter to delete her messages from my
newsreader message list. I then closed SeaMonkey and deleted the
gmane.comp.openoffice.questions.msf file and reopened SeaMonkey and the
newsgroup - poof no more KE.
