Hi there, Today working with spreadsheets i found what seems to be a big problem. For some strange reason everytime I right clicked on a tab at the bottom in order to copy it into another, new, spreadsheet (new book I mean), the info on the dates changed the year from 2008 to 2004. Strangely sometimes it also changed the month. The weird thing is that it didn't do it constantly, but to some entries and couldn't figure out why. (this on the last production version for windows I don't remember the chipset, but is a pentium m or celeron d)
This problem doesn't happen when you copy and paste the spreadsheet into the same book. Also I would like to make a recommendation: Whenever you select a background colour the last selection should stay on the button so that next time I want to use the same colour I just need to click the button and not make the selection again (saving myself one process). The thing is that if you use colour schemes to organize your info, sometimes you need to go cell by cell changing colour after reviewing (and most of the times is green meaning done or ok) and having to do the same process of choosing green everytime is a bother. In excel I normally just leave the pointer at the background colour and select the cells with the arrows and each time i want to apply the colour I just click and pass without having to position the pointer Well hope this helps and I can't tell you how proud I am that you actually read the inputs and reply to them (thanks Guy!) it makes me feel part of this incredible community that is doing something that helps sooo many people. You can't imagine how surprised my friends are when i tell them there is a suit that does what office does and... free. Your SW isn't heard off in this part of the world... Peru that is and having so high levels of SW piracy I think you could grab huge markets just by letting people know it does the same that office suit, totally compatible and free. Another great advantage is that it opens right away pdf files working as a pdf reader . Word can't. Good luck! BTW I use version 3.0 beta for my macbook I use the last beta version for a windows dual core in one office I use version 2.something (the last production one before beta) in a... mmhh actually I don't know if it is a pentium m or celeron D chipset but can find out if you need it.
