What happened to you never happened to me, apparently with the same version of OO (1.1.4). All I know is that if my text file is complex (with tables, footnotes, maybe columns), the result may be somewhat different in Word format, so I have to correct it with MS Office.

I am working on a paper for a college class that I am taking, and am told that it "MUST" be in MS Word format. OK. I can do that. I am using a recently
downloaded version of your "stable" release, not the Beta release. When I saved my document, I chose the MS Word, etc format, and wound up in a daisy-chain of
"what format?", "this one", "ok", "what format?", "this one", "ok", "what ... " i think you get
the picture. Hopefully, it's saved OK, for that's a whale of a lot of work to have to re-do.

Not a complaint. Just an "FYI"

thanks for an otherwise GRRRRRREAT product.
