Installed the new 3.0.0 a couple of minutes ago and I finally could try the PDF import extension, that needs OpenOffice.org 3. It's great now being able to import PDF files, but unfortunately my test file didn't look very good, so it's pretty useless for me, at least at the moment.
Take a look and see for yourselves. The file<http://www.konsumentverket.se/Documents/bilar/kopekontrakt_bilar.pdf>looks right with Adobe Reader, Evince and probably with most of the PDF readers out there. Try to import it to OpenOffice.org and see the differences. Can anyone be satisfied with this? I'll file a bug report unless someone here tells me not to. J.R.
