I've just started giving OOo 3 (Aqua Mac) a test drive. For starters,
it's good to note that the Command-Spacebar keyboard shortcut which is
assigned system-wide to switching between language input (in my case:
English-Greek) works even in OOo now (previously in the beta phase, it
was hijacked by the OOo set of shortcuts, and rendered useless if OOo
was the frontmost application).
I could not add my greek dict files, though. Seems that the file
format and file locations have now been changed. The Wizard->Install
new dictionaries command is not an option, as it is (still) not
available in the version.
So could someone perhaps guide me as to how to do this? I've got my
el_GR.aff and el_GR.dic files, but, where do I copy them to? Also,
where is the dictionary.lst file, so that I can manually update it to
make it aware of the two greek files?
Alternatively, how do I go about using the Wizard?
Many thanks.
Dictionaries are now installed using the extension manager and require a
new format for the dictionaries. To get new dictionaries go to
"Tools/Language/More Dictionaries Online". I don't know if Greek is
available yet.
