I would like to point the community to a regression bug that is quite
considerable IMHO and that has already been discussed on the list:
Autorecovery in the current OOo 3.0 release always recovers the last
saved version of a document (e.g. in case of a crash of OOo).
Seems to be cross-platform and did not occur in OOo 2.4.1.
Unfortunately, the corresponding Issue 92968
<http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=92968> has not even
been assigned a target to, although it already has 16 votes!
So my fear is that it wouldn't be solved in OOo 3.0.1 - which I
definitely think should be aimed at.
I think this is a major drawback for many users and would probably be a
stopper for the rollout of OOo 3 in a corporate environment.
I'm looking forward to hear your comments, and of course I encourage
everyone who sees this as a major problem to vote for the issue!
