I am dismayed to find that OOo 3.0 still cannot see OpenType fonts that are based on Type 1 fonts.
I also note that when you save a form as an editable PDF, whatever font you selected for the controls is converted to Helvetica in the PDF. I complained about this two years ago. (Although I can't find the place where I filed it.) I need to use a specific font in the controls for work in linguistics. Helvetica has only a handful of the characters we need. Evidently this has not been addressed. Can someone confirm that 3.0 still cannot use all OpenType fonts and that form controls will be set to Helvetica on PDF export?
