Hello All, I downloaded Openoffice 3.0 and installed into my computer (Intel CPU, Red Hat Linux version 2.4.20-8smp). I proceeded 6 of 7 steps for installation. But I do not know how to do with the seventh step: " 7. Finally, cd to desktop-integration. Depending on your package manager/system, install the appropriate desktop interface. " Could you please tell me what to do in my case. What I want is OpenOffice occurs on my Menu bar when I click onto Red Hat Icon on the left corner of the desktop.
