Hi,
I'm using OpenOffice Base to connect to our AS400 server through JDBC.
It works fine, but there's only one problem : We have three libraries
(databases) and in the connection string, I have to specify one of
them. Current library is displayed and I can access the other two
using some text requests. What I would like, is to have all three
databases shown in Base GUI, to be able to select tables from any of
the libraries using the common interface.
So basically, I'm using three separate OOBase files to show each
library structure.
Is it possible to have all libraries displayed ? I thought of
specifying my three libraries in the connection string, but I don't
know if it's possible and what the syntax is.
Anyone an idea ?
I expect that you would need to use macros to open individual
connections. I think that it could be a lot of work.
