Two things:
o Right-click the taskbar and select Properties from the context menu.
o (On the Taskbar tab) under "Taskbar appearance", remove the tick
from "Group similar taskbar buttons".
o Instead of using the taskbar, hold down the Alt key and press Tab
repeatedly. (Press Shift+Tab to go the other way.)
o Release Alt when appropriate.
