The 3.0.1 is not advisable for production work (only official releases...),
but it already has some 3.0.0 bugs solved.
I read in another thread here that OOo 3.0.1 can be found at the OOo
mirrors:

scroll down to find the list of available mirrors.
(at Good-Day, I see only OOo versions for Mac)
and on the OOo download site, the snapshot is of OOo 3.1 already...

Just a quick comment on this.
AFAIK - the domain download.openoffice.org will be off-line for ~90
minutes starting at 1800 GMT today. I don't know if they will be
redirecting to a secondary server at that time.
So, just in case - if you can't hit the server between 18:00 and 19:30
GMT today just be patient.
