I have downloaded and installed OpenOffice 2.4 but I could not get to use it! The readme files never told me the steps to setup WRITER... and I could not find any of the applications (word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation). What a strange way of installing a package. Would you please tell me where to find the steps leading to opening the 3 applications?
