Re The auto correct problem: No, I am not aware of changing anything. However, I suspect the problem may be related to templates. I have created a new template and made it my default. One item on this is to set top margin to 1/2 inch. This does not happen when I open the programme with my first document. But it does when I open a new document! I have checked that I am using the new Template by going to Template/Organise/my new template/ commands/set as default. Let me know if you have any ideas. I don't think so, that would require it have like some sort of AI, and I think it works mostly on if..then statements.
