already coloured, it should not be changed. And idea how to do that,
as the only options one has are "cell value is" and "formula is".

I don't know how to do this. There is a STYLE() function so you might be able to include it in the "formula is" to say set cell blue if its row number is odd *and* its *style* is "default". But simply colouring a cell doesn't (??) affect its style so this would only work if all your colour changes were effected via styles.
