I am running Windows Xp sp3. I have OO 2.4.1 and OO 3.0.0 installed. Whenever I attempt to open a file with OO 3, I usually end up with a locked file. The program then tries to recover the file but there is no file present in the recovery window. If I first open a blank file and then open the file, it opens normally.
The same file will open normally in OO 2.4. It doesn't seem to make any difference which program is used to create the original file. I have reinstalled several times but always get the same results. Any ideas. Terry Ehrhart
