I've never heard of OpenOffice working with Apple Works, though some versions can open Microsoft Works files. You don't have to pay for OpenOffice.org, as it is a free download from www.openoffice.org. So, you'll have to contact whoever you paid or failing that try for a refund through your credit card company. While it is legal for someone to sell OpenOffice.org, I find those who provide nothing other than a download to be unethical. Many of those "vendors" pass off this mail list as their support. The help here is provided by volunteers, who try to help other users and we are not paid for our efforts. There is a lot of useful information available from www.openoffice.org (click on the "Support" tab), which is the official site for OpenOffice.org. -- Use OpenOffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
