It sounds like you have downloaded the wrong version of OO.o. There are
different versions for Intel and PPC Macs. The .dmg file will have
either MacOSXIntel or MacOSXPowerPC in the file name.
Also OO.o 3.0, which is the latest version, does not require X11.
