I have a pre-existing, multi-page booklet, done in OOo 3. I've received a graphic front and back cover that I want to add.
For the front, I placed my cursor as close to the top of the document as it would allow, inserted a page-break, then inserted a section break, then reformatted the page to have no margins, then imported the front cover. It mostly worked. The rest of the document was after the initial page and section breaks, so the formatting of the main booklet content pages was untouched. Then, I went to the very end of the document, inserted a page break, went to the new page, inserted a section break, and tried to do the same as I did on the new front-cover page. But no. Page-format changes insist on propagating back through the entire document, which I don't want. What should I be doing, instead of what I am doing? The desired end-result is the same document, formatted in the same way as it was last week, but with a new graphic first page (the front cover and a new graphic back page (the back cover). - Kevin The information contained in this electronic mail transmission may be privileged and confidential, and therefore, protected from disclosure.
