Hello As a very basic user of the OpenOffice products, and I mean BASIC
user, I use the writer and database on an everyday matter of courses.
Beats the hell out of knowing something :) .
I am not a programmer and that being the case, I would appreciate
someone stepping me through how to put either the AM or the PM US Gold
price into a database I am building.

The idea of course is to use that number to "value" my "precious metal"
holdings I have placed into tjhe database. Currently I am putting the
price per ounce of both Gold and Silver in by hand whenever I open the
db up.
If someone would help me with the proper terminology for my database it
surely would be appreciated.
