I'm sure this info has been posted, but I can't find it...
I'm using Cross-over Office on a Mac running Leopard. My company uses
OO for documents in our medical software on all OS's through a
terminal emulation app called AccuTerm. We have been using 1.1.5 on
Linux and Windows, and we're beginning to use our software on Mac
Leopard.
By Cross-over Office do you mean MS Office running under Codeweaver's
CrossOver?
My question is what ver. of OO would you recommend for running on the
MAC? Any special circumstance to take into account? I've been told to
wait for 3.01 for the other platforms before I upgrade from 1.1.5.
I'm assuming I would need to download the right version into the MAC
environment: I'm not sure what effect if any the Cross-over would
have on running OO.
OO.o 3.0.1 will be out tommorrow. It runs fine on Macs. It is
independent of CrossOver. If you have PPC Macs, you need to get it
from the the good-day site. The Intel Mac version should be on the
regular download page tommorrow.

Actually, since we use OO, we use the terminal emulator AccuTerm under
Codeweaver's CrossOver; we don't use MS Office at all ( that's where we
use OO) Our Linux based proprietary software is Linux base, but runs w/
AccuTerm on other OS's. Bet you can tell I'm not an engineer!
Glad to hear 3.0.1 will be released tomorrow. I will download it on our
MAC and give it a good testing.
Many thanks!
