Hi Siva,

Could you give us a little bit more detail about what you mean by
"cannot format" and "incrementing dates". It is very possible that all
the Excel functions you require exist in Calc, but are handled sightly
differently to what you are accustomed to.

Try to give specific examples (Excel style, if you want) of what you are
trying to achieve and we will do our best to help.

For more information than just the help file take a look around the OOo
website (in particular the documentation project). A good starting point
would be http://support.openoffice.org/index.html There really is a
wealth of information available there. You might also want to subscribe
to this mailing list, but be warned it's a very high volume list and
even with your Telstra broadband connection your OE inbox may go into
overload ;)
