Dear all,

Do I have to uninstall Previous Open Office first (OO 3.0) before installing the new one (OO 3.0.1)? or I just direct installing the new one without uninstalling the previous one?

Thanks,
Adi

No. You can download the 3.0.1 version of OpenOffice.org and
it will install everything you will need. Currently, for Windows
OS, there is no small update-only files and install system to
add just the newest parts. So to update and to do a new install,
you will need to download the complete version of OOo 3.0.1.

That makes it ease for first time users. You will not need
to worry about if you got the correct download, unless you use
Linux or a Mac. Then you will have to choose from the "other platform
or version" list. If you use Windows 98 to XP or Vista, the
default Windows version works well. Yuo do not need to go
anywhere else but the

I want to download OpenOffice.org and the Download Now option
from the www.openoffice.org web site
