What can I do?
Various things:
o Go to Tools | AutoCorrect... | Options, and remove one or both
ticks from URL Recognition. This will prevent such text being
recognised as a file reference in the first place.
o When you type something after the text (perhaps a space?), two
things happen: first the space or whatever is entered and then the
automatic correction takes place. Writer sees these as two
operations, so if you catch it immediately, you can go to Edit | Undo
(or Ctrl+Z) to undo the correction but leave whatever you typed.
o Put the cursor somewhere in the hyperlink and then go to Format |
Default Formatting (or Ctrl+M).
I trust this helps.
