I have OOo 2.4.1 and OOo 3.0 on Ubuntu Intrepid. My professor puts powerpoint files on his web site. They were created in MS Office 2003 on XP. I can open them fine in OOo 2.4.1 (Impress), but if I try to open any of them in OOo 3.0 they send OOo into an endless loop with the CPU at 100%. I have to give OOo kill -9 to stop it.
