Hello, Sorry to hear you have problems using OpenoOffice.org on your Mac. As you can see, I run OOo on Intel Mac (and an old PowerBook PPC), and do so without problems. Please tell us if you have a PowerPC or an Intel Mac, and what version of the OS (Tiger or Leopard? 10.4 or 10.5?). Where did you download OOo from (www.openoffice.org is the right place) and which version did you download? Is it the Aqua version, or the version that needs X11 to run? Is this OOo's behaviour from the start, or did you use it before without problems? You probably will have to force quit (keep the start button down for several seconds, or cut the power supply) in order to be able to restart your computer. Don't despair... OOo runs smoothly on thousands of Macs! -- Guy using dutch OOo Aqua 3.0.1 on a iMac Intel DualCore Leopard and brazilian OOo Aqua 3.0.0 on an Intel MacBook Pro Leopard -- please reply only to [email protected] -- Dodoes can't afford to have headaches
