Hello Tom, I've since attempted to download the same file from the link given by James, via: <http://download.openoffice.org/1.1.5/index.html> I did not experience the problem as you did in getting vers 1.1.5 and had no trouble in downloading the zipped file archived there. However, both the file at OpenOffice.org and the file archived at oldapps.com do match this md5sum check: ad28a8cb6e8def51f62bc18a85c271b3 OOo_1.1.5_Win32Intel_install.zip Which means that the file archived at oldapps.com is likely a good file and is safe to use.
