I like to use FileZilla to download OOo from the server at
ftp.ussg.iu.edu. Since I got DSL (YAY!) I consistently get an error
message that there are too many connections from my internet address
and it disconnects me. I never had this problem with dial-up, though
it did take about ten hours to download. Can anyone tell me what I'm
doing wrong?

Get the same error with me.

This come with my uploading of files to my hosting server.
via cable-broadband.

It uploads 2 streams at the same time. Then it may try to
do a third. But it gives me the same error. There was someone
in the tech number stating that even if my "FTP package",
which I said was FileZilla, is off, the OS could be trying to
keep open a log on thread for up to 20-30 minutes after the
software has been closed. He tells me to reboot. Since there
is no network activity after the FTP was shut down (monitored)
then there had to be some other problem. It cleared itself
the times I stayed on line for a long upload. 300meg+ worth.
