Yes, I came across that this morning when I tried it again. It seems that this may be a bug in the watermark style. You can make it do this by going into watermark style and choose "In Background" option in the Wrap tab. You would have to resave this as your default template, but it might be worth somebody (note: not me :) to report a bug here.
