Hi Drew and others
The text box is Multi-line. The box does just fine, you must use the
arrow keys to scroll the text, if there are more lines than can be
viewed in the box. I think a scroll-bar is a better way to see the
hidden text. I have the text box and the scrollbar grouped, but the
two act independently. Does anyone know of any documentation for
these objects?
FYI: I am using OO 3.0 on a Intel XP box. Thanks for the Help

Hi Cliff
Ah - I misunderstood your first question it seems.
The text control has a property 'Scrollbars', open the property
manager and set this to 'vertical'.
The control now has it's own scroll bar that functions as you like.
Of course if there is some reason that you want to use a separate
scroll bar control let me know.

Hi Drew and others
Yes, I do not know why I could not see that. What I found was a
scrollbar under 'More Controls'.
This is my first venture in to Base, so I'm very green.
Thank You for all your help.
