Edit->Copy and Edit->Paste works !
Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean when talking
about :

your imported object to work better).

I clicked the right mouse but I don't see what you mean
by group; and in fact I do really need scaling of the
image after inserting it into the writer doc.

Any ideas ?
