i have oo 3.01 installed on ubuntu release 8.0 on linux.
i'm trying too create a chart where i select the data points
to use. for example i would like to select the point B4, B9, and B34.
How should I enter these point in the data range field.
Second question. Is ther a book on oo 3 that would cover this
type of question?

One of the many books on OOo3 might cover this, and it will also be in the chapter of the Calc Guide on charts, which I am writing right now.

The easiest way is to select the cells (hold down the Control key while you click on each one in turn) and then start the Chart Wizard using Insert > Chart.

If you then want to know how Calc identifies those points, right-click on the resulting chart and choose Data Ranges. That should tell you how to enter points manually if you need or choose to do so.

Please reply only to the list, not directly to me.
