In addition to Harold's excellent advice regarding upgrading to
Thunderbird, if you must continue with OE check the following link:
http://www.justlocal.com.au/clients/oespellcheck/
This OE spell checker is made available by Kelvin Eldridge, who was the
main developer of the (unofficial, but up-to-date) pre-OOo3 Australian
dictionaries.
