In Outlook Express, once a message is open, go to
File>Properties>Details>Message Source and then scroll down to see either
one or two "Delivered To:" headers.

In Thunderbird I think it's View>Headers>All.

In Gmail/Google Mail in a web browser it's More Actions>View Original.

Don't know about other mail programs.

In Thunderbird you can set up a filter to, for example, highlight in red in
your inbox messages from unsubscribed posters. Note that this statement is
only true for Thunderbird's *e-mail* module. You cannot set up a similar
filter if you use Thunderbird's *news* component to read this list via e.g
Gmane.
