I have tried hyperlinking the Table of Contents in one of our Work
Instructions using OpenOffice with absolutely no luck.
One thing I noticed that was different was when I inserted the
Index/Table, I noticed on the Entries tab that on my office Computer the
tab did not list "E" field, which is required for hyperlinking; however,
on my home computer when attempting to insert Index/Table the Entries
tab did list the "E" field.
Is this because of my operating systems? And my home computer's OS is
Vista and office computer is XP Professional. I am not sure if this is
the reason why I can hyperlink on one computer and not on the other.
Both computers have the same OpenOff version installed on them?

I'm not sure, but I think I've seen here that the E may look more like
an F in some fonts, so a difference in system fonts may account for
this. If you note the full list of possibilities on each system, you may
see the corresponding positions appearing different, but they'll have
the same function. Hope this helps.
