Hi there, First things first: how are you trying to open the files?
Does it only happen if you try opening a file by doubleclicking on it? (maybe Windows "forgot" that you use Openoffice to open these files) If you launch Openoffice and try opening a file, does this work? Or does this give the same error? Good luck, Jurgen. >----- Oorspronkelijk bericht ----- >Van : [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] >Verzonden : maandag , april 13, 2009 02:11 PM >Aan : [email protected] >Onderwerp : [users] OO 3.0.1 > >Friends - > >Sorry to bother; I have no technical background so your help pages on the >web aren't helpful. > >I've been running OpenOffice without incident on XP for over a year, but >it suddenly decided it won't open existing files, neither those from OO nor >MS.
