Yes OpenOffice.org has equivalents to Microsoft Office they are...

OOo.Writer <-> MS Office Word
OOo.Calc <-> MS Office Excel
OOo.Impress <-> MS Office Powerpoint
OOo.Base <-> MS Office Access

Writer, Calc and Impress can read and edit current versions of documents
produced with Microsoft Programs.
