When I downloaded the release candidate 1
it installed as the "full version".
I actually installed it in a release candidate folder, but it
"killed" me shortcut to 3.0.1 that was in the standard installed folder.
Also the "Control Panel" showed that version 3.0 was uninstalled.
When I went from 2.x to 3.0.0, I was able to install 3.0 in a
release candidate folder (program files\release-candidate\openoffice. .
. . .)
instead of the normal folder (program files\openoffice. . . . .)
AND I was able to use both versions.
But this rc1 "310m9" took 3.0.1 off my computer.
So, is this the "final" version?
Is there going to be an RC2?
If this is it, then I can start making some CDs and giving them out
to my people and former clients that now use OOo 3.0.1.
