Standard is lowest price, than Preferred a little more, and Pro is the highest priced of them All! Preferred is a good candidate and has a lot of features and is very usable with OOo! There is a add-on to Dragon that I find very useful, and that product comes from a company called "Knowbrainer" by Lunis Orcutt! But, Of course that is also an added expense! I am not affiliated with either company, but find their products VERY useful, as I have arthritis in both hands! I am not mentioning prices as I am aware that they change, frequently, and so you would have to check that out with the companies involved! One warning both companies give is that you do have to spend some time, NOT very long, to get the programs familiar with the sound of your voice! I use Dragon Naturally Speaking Professional version and Knowbrainer, which is a very good combination, and both Companies offer online forums where a question can be answered, and the forums are FREE! :-)
