1. Have created outline that makes use of paragraphs,
sub-paragraphs, sentences, sub-sentences, clauses and
sub-clauses, like scheme of the Internal Revenue Code.
(a) Document is formatted in "odt" format,
(b) OO is running under Win 2K.

I understand how to change echelon of numbered lines, up or
down, Shift-Tab or Tab, from beginning of line. Do not
understand why OO does not reallign the level automatically,
for example, push a sub-paragraph, e.g., (a), left to the allignment
column of a paragraph, 1., after I have hit it with Shift-Tab.
Sub-paragraph (a) becomes paragraph 2., but does not move into the
position of a paragraph.
If I manually must reallign paragraphs whose echelon has been
shifted (as above), how? I do not see how to avoid erasure of
the assigned number/letter.
